So I have recently discovered (or maybe rediscovered)Wonder Woman and the Star Riders. It was a concept of the early 90's where basically, they'd sell action toys to girls by trying to appeal to girls with jewels, unicorns, and what not. It ultimately didn't ever see the light of day and it was clear the concept borrowed heavily from She-Ra, it's predecessor, but it's still a cool concept. It was a joint venture between DC and Hasbro.

Thinking about the idea, I was thinking how it could easily be changed to a DC only property so Hasbro wouldn't sue DC over it.
Here's my idea:
Ares has gone and killed or stolen the power of all the other Gods of War. He has been aided by his lackeys, the Duke of Deception,Lord Conquest, Earl of Greed as well as his children, Eris & Phobos. Ares and his lackeys are able to fill people with an uncontrollable desire for war/aggression, fear, chaos, greed or deception, which ultimately turns them into a monster.
The Goddesses of Love convene with Aphrodite at their head and call in 5 teenage girls, who are reincarnations of the Amazons of old to aid them.
Diana Prince (who will look of Greek decent of course) to be Wonder Woman using the power of Aphrodite's love.
Tora Olfsdotter as Ice (or Icemaiden, I prefer the later, but either name works) powered by the Goddess Freyja.
Beatriz Da Costa as Fire (or maybe something sun based?) powered by the Incan Goddess Chasca.
Bi Ting Yufei as Jade granted powers from Benzaiten.
Mari Jiwe Mcabe will be Vixen and gain powers from Oshun.
the girls will have magical powers, but also fight physically. Each will have a power based on an element or concept. Wonder Woman will be spirit/love, Tora will be water/ice, Fire will be fire/sun, Jade will be earth/pants, and Vixen's will be animal/life.
It'd be awesome.. really.
